Paul's responsibilities include improving safety\, pavement condition\, aesthetics and congestion on 1\,700 miles of interstates\, 2\,300 miles of state routes and 611 bridges in 6 metro Atlanta counties.\n\nPaul has served in several roles during his 14-year career at GDOT including Traffic Design Engineer\, State Traffic Operations Manager in the Office of Traffic Operations and District Preconstruction Engineer. Paul was also the Executive Assistant to the Chief Engineer in the Chief Engineer's Office. \n\nPaul holds a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from North Carolina State University. He is a registered Professional Engineer (PE) in the State of Georgia and a Professional Traffic Operations Engineer (PTOE).
