Davis is an accomplished executive and serial entrepreneur with more than 25 years of international private sector, nonprofit, and public sector experience. He has extensive experience in planning coalition branding and has consulted for HP, Compaq and MarketFresh. Prior to working at Connect South Fulton, Davis served as President of the Camp Creek Business Association and currently sits on the Advisory Committee of the Atlanta BeltLine.

Connect South Fulton is focused on creating a narrative for South Fulton that will establish the region as its own entity. South Fulton is the home of the largest amount of undeveloped land near an international airport in the world, boasts lower land costs, a lower cost of doing business, and a lower cost of living.

The organization was chartered in 2017, when the cities of Chattahoochee Hills, College Park, East Point, Fairburn, Hapeville, Palmetto and Union City formed a public private partnership with the stated goal of making South Fulton the premier choice for capital investment in the metro Atlanta region. The nonprofit is mostly funded by the seven municipalities currently but plans to build its private investment, starting with home-based businesses and moving to corporations.

Michael Davis received a Bachelor's of Business Administration in Management Information Systems from the Terry College of Business at the University of Georgia and completed an executive MBA at Emory University's Goizueta Business School.
