Alan Hallman has been on the Hapeville City Council since 1998, nearly 25 years. He was elected Mayor in 2006, currently serving his 5th term. As a long-time public servant and community leader, Mayor Hallman has completed the Carl Vincent Institute Municipal Leadership training course, he’s been awarded a Certificate of Achievement from GMA, and he was named the Outstanding Georgia Citizen in 2015 by then Secretary of State, Brian Kemp. He also serves on the Staff Parish Relations Committee and as the Church Council Chairman at Hapeville United Methodist Church. He is a prior President of the Hapeville Exchange Club.

Outside of his role as Mayor, Mr. Hallman is also the founder and co-owner of Crown Security Systems, Inc., a Fayetteville-based security company that specializes in the sales, installation, monitoring, and servicing of security systems including CCTV, digital surveillance, access control, and fire and safety for over 3,000 residential and commercial clients. Mr. Hallman is responsible for managing and coordinating the daily operations of the business, as well as developing CAD drawings, managing finances, staff, and projects of all sizes.

Alan Hallman is a graduate of Hapeville High School and a proud resident of Hapeville.
