Join the Council For Quality Growth's North Fulton Advisory Meeting with Alpharetta City Administrator, Robert (Bob) Regus.

Robert J. Regus is a veteran of over 40 years in local government.  Prior to the City of Alpharetta, Bob worked for 24 years for Fulton County, Georgia, in various positions, serving the last three years with the County as County Manager. His career with the County ended at the end of 1998 and he has served as the City Administrator for the City of Alpharetta since January, 1999.
 
He is appointed and evaluated by the City Council.  He is responsible for the leadership of over 400 employees with an annual budget of over $50 million.  As City Administrator he develops and executes policy and procedures applicable to all City programs and functions.  He appoints and evaluates the performance of all department heads.  He is responsible for recommending all matters coming before City Council.
 
Bob currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Alpharetta Convention and Visitors Bureau, the City of Alpharetta Defined Benefit and Defined Contribution Pension Boards, the Board of the Greater North Fulton Chamber of Commerce, and the Alpharetta Public Safety Foundation
 
He holds both a Business Administration degree and a Master of Public Administration degree from Georgia State University.
