Walter Thomas Williams, PharmD, MBA is the Executive Director of Patient Services at Piedmont Henry Hospital in Stockbridge, Georgia, where he oversees more than 10 departments and leads cross-functional teams across rehabilitation, respiratory, nutrition, patient experience, laboratory, environmental services, and oncology. His leadership drives initiatives that directly enhance community health and support regional economic development.

With over 14 years as a licensed pharmacist, Dr. Williams previously served as Director of Pharmacy and Outpatient Infusion Services. In that role, he led multimillion-dollar construction projects, established one of Georgia’s few COVID monoclonal antibody infusion centers, and managed the Piedmont System’s first COVID vaccine supply chain operations—enabling some of the earliest vaccinations for healthcare workers.

Dr. Williams earned his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Georgia in 2011 and his MBA from Clayton State University in 2020. He was a DNV PIVOT Award finalist for his work in COVID vaccination logistics and is a co-author of the article “Two Years into the COVID-19 Pandemic: The Five Lessons Learned” published in Management in Healthcare magazine.

He is an active member of the American Pharmacists Association and the Georgia Pharmacists Association, and a graduate of the Georgia Hospital Association Leadership Program. Dr. Williams currently serves as Vice Chair of the Board of Directors for Hands of Hope Clinic, a nonprofit organization providing medical, dental, and mental health services to uninsured residents of Henry County.
