Lynette Howard has been a resident of Gwinnett for 30 years. For the last 19 years, Lynette has worked diligently to achieve a balance in development and aesthetics in Gwinnett County:

- Negotiating between homeowners groups, developers, and attorneys in rezoning issues

- Graduated from Leadership Gwinnett, 2013

Lynette received a BS in chemistry from Georgia State University. She worked for eight years as a research chemist for Puritan Chemical Company. Until her election in November 2010, she was a program developer and specialist at the Gwinnett Environmental and Heritage Center. Lynette lives in Peachtree Corners with her husband, Pat, and their children, Nathalie and Alex.
