Join the Council for Quality Growth's Gwinnett Advisory Committee Meeting featuring Cyndi Sloan, Planning Division Director and Chris Hayward, Deputy Director, Gwinnett County Planning and Development.
Chris Hayward has served as Deputy Director for the Gwinnett County Planning and Development Department since 2018. Chris is responsible for providing leadership and oversight to the Inspections, Permitting, Licensing and Revenue, and Code Enforcement sections. Prior to joining Gwinnett, Chris served DeKalb County for seven years in various roles supporting the Chief Operating Officer and Deputy Chief Operating Officer. Chris earned a Juris Doctor and Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Georgia with a major in Economics and a minor in English. He is also an active member of the International City and County Management Association.
