Join the Council for Quality Growth's Forsyth Advisory Committee Meeting featuring Tom Brown, Director of Planning and Development for Forsyth County.
Tom Brown is currently the Director for the Forsyth County Department of Planning and Community Development, having served as the Assistant Director since May 2003. Tom began working as a planner with the county in 1998 and was promoted to senior planner in late 2001.
Prior to coming to Forsyth County, Tom held a temporary position as a strategic planner with the Empire State Development Corporation in Buffalo, New York. He has a Master of Urban Planning from the State University of New York at Buffalo and a Bachelor of Arts in both Economics and Urban Studies from Canisius College. Tom has been certified with the American Institute of Certified Planners since 2000.
