Join the Council for Quality Growth's Forsyth Advisory Meeting with State Senator Michael Williams.
Sen. Williams is the secretary of the Banking and Financial Institutions Committee. He is chair of the Appropriations Sub-Committee on Fiscal Management and General Government. He also serves as a member of the Appropriations, Ethics, Finance and Public Safety Committees.
Williams is a CPA and has a strong background in accounting and business. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of Montevallo in 1999. He started with Arthur Anderson upon graduation and has since owned and operated a chain of 18 successful franchise businesses that he sold in 2013.
Senator Williams is actively involved in his community. His affiliations include membership in Lanier Forsyth Rotary Club, Cumming/Forsyth County Chamber of Commerce, Forsyth County GOP, the Lake Lanier Association, the Forsyth County Tea Party, Georgia Carry, NRA and Georgia Gun Owners.
