Event Description:
Join the Council for Quality Growth's Cobb Advisory Committee Meeting featuring Pam Conner, City Manager, City of Powder Springs. 
Pam began her career in public service after graduating with a BS in Political Science from the University of Missouri-Columbia and a JD from Cumberland School of Law at Samford University in Birmingham. She first worked as staff attorney at the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission in Washington DC, followed by work as counsel to the Environmental Matters Committee for the Maryland General Assembly.  

After moving to Atlanta in the early 90’s she worked as staff attorney for the Resolution Trust Corporation before later joining the City of Powder Springs as special projects coordinator.  Pam has been with the City for over 20 years and served as Community Development Director prior to her appointment as City Manager in 2016.  

Pam is a member of the Leadership Cobb 2020 and the Powder Springs Youth Foundation and is a certified floodplain manager and a trained instructor for the civic Community Emergency Response Team. She received her Digital Badge in Leadership Excellence from Kennesaw State University in May 2020.  A resident of southwest Cobb County for over 20 years, she recently celebrated 32 years of marriage and is a proud mom of 25-year-old son living in Seattle and a sweet fur baby retriever lab.
