Join the Council for Quality Growth's Cobb Advisory Committee Meeting featuring Mayor Pro Tem Tim Gould, City of Smyrna. 

Tim Gould was elected to the Smyrna City Council in 2018 through a special election and reelected in November 2019 for a full four-year term. Tim currently serves as the Ward 6 Council Person and the Mayor Pro Tem. He is the Chair of the Council’s Education Committee and serves on the City’s Special Committee on Budget.   He is a member of Smyrna Business Association, Cobb County Chamber of Commerce, Campbell High School Education Foundation and active with Campbell High Business Partners.

Professionally, Tim is a partner of Fordham Plastics Equipment Corp and ZAG Equipment Sales inc., both companies market capital equipment to the manufacturing industry.  He is President of ZAG, actively managing the used equipment business and marketing new equipment to customers in Georgia. 

After graduating from the University of Buffalo with a degree in mechanical engineering and later obtaining a MBA from Fordham University, Tim moved to Georgia in 1996.

Tim and his wife Judy have lived in the Smyrna / Mableton area for 18 years and for the last eight years in the Old Vinings Mill neighborhood with their two children, Abbie and Jack.  He is an active member of St. Benedict’s Episcopal Church and is currently Vice Chair of St. Benedict’s School Board of Trustees. Tim earned a Professional Engineering license in 1996, coached rec and Campbell H.S. Metro Softball, and loves supporting our passionate and engaged residents.
