Heath Miller serves as the Associate Vice President for Planning, Design, and Construction. He joined Emory University in 2005 and most recently served as Senior Director, Construction Improvements and Renewals. Heath has over 28 years of experience in planning, design, and construction administration. He began his career with Jacobs Engineering as project engineer/estimator, followed by Kvaerner Construction as a construction estimator for healthcare construction projects. Following Kvaerner Construction, he joined ACI Construction where he was a preconstruction and project manager for aviation and higher education projects. Heath holds a master’s degree in Building Construction and Facility Management from The Georgia Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Science degree in Building Construction from the University of Florida. He is a LEED accredited professional.
Greg King serves as associate vice president for economic development at the Georgia Institute of Technology, where he builds partnerships that leverage the Institute’s strengths in education, research, talent, and innovation. He works closely with corporate partners to develop meaningful engagements across campus and helps companies establish innovation and technology operations at Technology Square and elsewhere near Georgia Tech. King also support Georgia’s broader economic-development efforts by mobilizing university resources for companies considering relocation or expansion in the state and by developing comprehensive partnerships with companies once established in Georgia. Before joining Georgia Tech, King served for more than two decades as a U.S. Navy officer in executive, staff, and operational assignments worldwide. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Management from Georgia Tech and a Master of Arts in Economics from the University of Oklahoma. He has served as a Fulbright Scholar and is a Certified Economic Developer.
Kelly Renford Wilson serves as Interim Vice President of Facilities at Georgia State University and will transition to Associate Vice President for Planning, Design, Construction, and Renovations once the university appoints a permanent VP. With more than 30 years of experience in K-12 and higher education facilities planning, design, and construction, she has led numerous capital improvement initiatives throughout her career. Prior to joining Georgia State in 2023, Kelly spent 14 years with the University System of Georgia as a Design and Construction Program Manager. She holds a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Tuskegee University and a Master of Architecture degree from the University at Buffalo School of Architecture and Planning.
