Event Description:
Join the Council for Quality Growth's Cherokee Advisory Committee Meeting with Cherokee County Public Works Director and County Engineer Geoff Morton.

Geoffrey E. Morton, PE  is the Public Works Agency Director & County Engineer for Cherokee County.  The Public Works Agency consists of the Engineering Department, Roads & Bridges Division, Fleet Maintenance Division, Recycling Division and CATS Transportation Division.  Geoff also manages the County’s Roadway SPLOST program.  Geoff has been with Cherokee County since 2001.  Prior to that he was City Engineer for the City of Woodstock from 1996 to 2001.  Geoff is a licensed professional engineer in the state of Georgia and graduated from Lafayette College in Easton, Pennsylvania in 1986.  Geoff and his wife Lisa have lived in Woodstock - Cherokee County for 22 years.
