Derrick Jackson is a 22-year military officer veteran, corporate general manager, entrepreneur, and a leader in the community that is known for his energy, enthusiasm, keen work ethic, integrity, and strong commitment to serve House District 64 and its residents.
He holds a Bachelor of Science in Management (and minor in Marketing) from Virginia Wesleyan College; Masters of Science in Management from Troy University, and is currently enrolled in Walden University’s Doctoral program for Public Policy & Administration.
Derrick Jackson is married to the former Michelle McClain of Charleston, SC., and they have been blessed with three daughters. They have been residents of Fayette County since 2004.
He has a vision and ideology that is sustained by a wealth of leadership & budget management experiences that are centered and dedicated to economic development, jobs creation, fiscal responsibility, education, equality, small business, inclusiveness, and being a voice-for-the-voiceless and residents in Fayette and South Fulton counties.
