About the Venue - Computer Museum of America
A “retired” CompUSA computer department store in Roswell serves as the temporary home to one-of-a-kind exhibits culled from one of the top vintage computer collections in the world and is available as an event venue with personality.

“I use the space to temporarily display two of my exhibits until the permanent location is completed for the Computer Museum of America,” explained owner Lonnie Mimms, a long-time Atlantan and computer history enthusiast.

The jewels of the Computer Museum of America are the Apple, PC exhibits and vintage games.  The 6,000 square foot Apple exhibit creatively details in a series of rooms the people, moments in time, and products that tell the story of building the Apple Empire.  Rare artifacts such as an Apple 1, original Lisa, Mac classics and much more are intertwined with the history of Steve Jobs, Woz and the innovation of the Apple company.

The 7,600 sq. ft. PC display travels in time from the present to what is said to be the very first personal computer, the Kenbak-1.  The PC exhibit features crowns of personal computing such as the TRS-80 and Commodore PET as well as the stories and exhibits of the big names such as IBM, Microsoft and Gates.

For more information, visit computermuseumofamerica.com.  The museum is located in Kings Market Center, 1425 Market Boulevard, Suite 200, Roswell, GA, 30076.
