Event Description:
The Council invites our Premier Members and registered Emerging Leaders (ELI members) to a reception with drinks and appetizers as we tour the new Atlanta Braves Preview Center, overlooking SunTrust Park and hear from Braves Vice-President of Braves Development Company and General Manager of The Battery Atlanta, Jeremy Strife (Bio Below). We look forward to seeing all of you as we get an inside look at the new Home of the Braves.
Jeremy's Bio:
Jeremy Strife is the Vice President of Braves Development Company and General Manager of The Battery Atlanta where he leads the development’s team, oversees operations, specialty leasing, marketing, special events and all business functions of running The Battery Atlanta. Prior to joining the Braves, Strife spent eight years with S&P 100 company, Simon Property Group, Inc. (NYSE: SPG), most recently as the General Manager of Newport Centre, Newport Crossing, and Newport Plaza in Jersey City, N.J. where his efforts were recognized with two Best of the Best Awards of Excellence, Simon’s highest management award, in 2013 & 2014.
Strife brings a wealth of real estate development, property management and diverse leadership experience to The Battery Atlanta, having held various positions within Simon Property Group, including that of Area General Manager overseeing two of the company’s retail properties in Albuquerque, N.M.: ABQ Uptown and Cottonwood Mall; as General Manager of Jefferson Valley Mall in Yorktown Heights, N.Y.; The Galleria at White Plains in White Plains, N.Y.; The Domain and The Arboretum shopping centers in Austin, TX.
In addition to his management experience, Strife spent two years in the Legal Operations Department at Simon Property Group’s headquarters in Indianapolis, Indiana and served on several asset acquisition transitions, developments, redevelopment, and corporate leadership projects including the Executive Strategy Team, EBITDA Enhancement Team, Anaplan Financial Roll-Out Team, Asset Optimization Task Force, and Simon Look Book, among others.
A native of Carthage, N.Y., Jeremy currently resides in Cobb County’s Smyrna area. He is a graduate of Indiana University in Bloomington, where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Affairs Law, minor in business management, and was recognized as an “Indiana University Top-Ten Student Leader.”
